How we can help

Practical electrical service built around the property.

Level 1 charging

120-volt charging circuits and receptacles where a lower-power charging solution fits the vehicle and property.

Level 2 charging

240-volt residential and 208/240-volt commercial charging circuits, receptacles and hardwired EV charging equipment based on the listed equipment requirements.

Homes, businesses & fleets

EV charging support for garages, workplaces, managed properties and fleet locations, including service-capacity and panel considerations.

EV charging done as electrical work

Not every outlet is an EV-charging outlet.

EV charging is a continuous electrical load and the circuit, receptacle or hardwired EVSE must match the listed equipment and the available electrical system. We evaluate the service, panel, circuit and installation conditions before recommending the setup.

Bring the charger details

Make and model matter.

Send the EVSE model, vehicle, desired charging location and photos of the panel/service so we can evaluate the correct installation approach.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions.

Do you install Level 1 and Level 2 EV charging?

Yes. Chesbro Electric installs qualifying Level 1 and Level 2 EV charging circuits, receptacles and charging equipment based on the vehicle, EVSE and property requirements.

Can you install a receptacle instead of a hardwired charger?

Where permitted and appropriate for the listed charging equipment, Chesbro Electric can install a suitable receptacle and dedicated circuit. Some Level 2 EVSE is designed or required to be hardwired, so the equipment listing and installation instructions control.

Can you check whether my existing panel can support EV charging?

Yes. Existing service and panel capacity are part of evaluating an EV charging installation, along with conductor size, overcurrent protection, equipment requirements and installation location.
