Homeowner electrical reviews
A review of concerns about aging panels, outlets, grounding, wiring changes, damaged equipment or electrical safety.
Chesbro Electric provides private electrical safety and condition assessments for homes, businesses, rural properties and real-estate transactions. We document identified concerns and provide an estimate for corrective electrical work—so you can plan the next step.

Some issues are visible; others need appropriate troubleshooting or testing. We work through the agreed inspection scope, explain concerns in practical terms and give you a repair estimate for identified issues that require correction.

Scope and authority matter: This is a private contractor assessment, not a government, insurance or official inspection certificate. It does not replace required permits, state/local inspections, AHJ decisions or any specialist testing that falls outside the agreed scope. Existing installations are evaluated in their historical context rather than assumed to need a complete code upgrade solely because rules were revised.
The 2026 National Electrical Code (NEC/NFPA 70) is the current edition and became effective statewide in Wyoming on July 1, 2026. We use applicable code provisions, jurisdictional requirements and the specific installation context when assessing electrical conditions.
We distinguish: observed safety concerns, applicable violations, current upgrade requirements and recommendations that may improve reliability but are not necessarily mandated retroactively.

Our goal is to help you understand the electrical work that may be needed, and what Chesbro would propose to correct it.
